Just want to send you a note to thank you for the great show at the Denver Merchandise Mart. For several days before the show I saw well placed advertisements on channel nine news during the 10 pm broadcast and also heard ads for the show on the radio. I was very impressed with the advertising promotions.
Several of the people who came to my booth commented on things they saw on my website. The link you provided on your web page about the artists attending the show brought extra traffic to my website and increased familiarity with my work. I was very impressed by how serious the shoppers were in wanting to get to know me and learn about my art. A number of people mentioned they spent time online previewing the artists work who were vendors at the Spring Colorado Arts and Crafts Show.
I found this show to be very professionally produced in every way. The staff was very helpful and communicative. The logistics and planning seemed to be flawless. The debut of the first Arts and Crafts Spring show in Colorado was an overall success for me. Of course we all want sales that go through the roof, but I found the sales adequate and I have already developed new leads for repeat customers and potential custom work orders.
Many of the outdoor shows I have participated in the summer months in Colorado have been tentative, the weather always has a serious impact on sales and at times a risk to personal safety. Surviving a Colorado micro-burst in an outdoor tent is a truly unique experience. The Mart Venue provided plenty of parking, protection from the elements, pleasant display space, professional and helpful staff. I plan on participating in this show again next year. As this spring show continues to grow and become more familiar to shoppers, the potential for it's continued success is certain. The accessibility and times for load in and load out of product were very flexible, reasonable, and very accommodating for the artists. Thank you again for all of your work and creativity in developing a unique and quality indoor Arts and Crafts show in Colorado.
